A Year Driven by Insight and Impact: GM Desiign’s Journey in 2025

As we reflect on our journey in 2025, one key learning is that intention shaped outcomes in every project we handled. For us, growth was measured by how deeply our work influenced the way people experience their workplaces.

With over 18 years of experience as a foundation, 2025 marked a milestone year of creating a new identity, reaffirming our belief that insight-led design delivers lasting impact.

Designing Human-Centric Workspaces

With over 500 projects handled since our inception, we have worked across various sectors, including technology, BFSI, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals, spanning multiple cities and cultures. Together, these projects account for over 25 million square feet of impactful workspaces delivered by us.

Despite the diversity of scale and typology, every project was guided by understanding how people work, connect, and perform. This focus translated into measurable outcomes, with post-occupancy studies reflecting an average productivity increase of nearly 40% and a 98% client satisfaction rate that reinforced our commitment to creating work environments that perform and respond.

Sustainability has become an Imperative Priority

In 2025, sustainability moved decisively from intent to integration. Smart building systems, efficient spatial planning, and responsible material choices enabled many of our projects to achieve energy savings of up to 30%.

Extending the Conversation Through Industry Platforms

Throughout the year, our projects and insights were featured across leading design and construction publications. From hybrid workplace strategies to intelligent building systems and sustainability-driven design, these platforms gave us an opportunity to express our design process and vision.

“Smart doesn’t mean disruptive; it means adaptive,” says Gaurrav Mozar about technology in workspaces

Being a part of this larger industry dialogue allows us to share why we design the way we do and advocate for workspaces that balance technology, empathy, and performance.

The People Behind the Spaces

Every successful workspace is the result of collective effort. Behind each project is a team that obsesses over detail, collaborates across disciplines, and ensures utmost precision and quality.

The team that strives relentlessly and works together to achieve GM Desiign’s vision

Our designers, strategists, project managers, and technical teams bring rigour and curiosity to every brief, ensuring that each space aligns with the vision of the client. Their commitment remains the foundation of our success.

Looking Ahead: Our View on 2026

As we enter 2026, the workplace continues to evolve rapidly. Based on ongoing research, client conversations, and project learnings, we see a few key shifts shaping the year ahead:

  • Biophilic design is significantly driving the well-being of people
  • Micro-neighbourhoods are replacing generic floorplates
  • Technology is becoming intuitive, unobtrusive, and a wise aid
  • Real-time data is informing continuous spatial optimisation
  • Agility is emerging as a core design principle

Looking at the evolving trends in the future of workplaces, it is pertinent to keep the core parameters of creating human-centric, data-informed, and adaptable spaces intact.

Moving Forward

Keeping all the observations, learnings, and progress of 2025 in mind, we move forward towards the future with a determination to design workspaces that respond to people, align with brand aspirations, and seamlessly adapt to the physical and emotional transformations bound to happen in the coming years.

At GM Desiign, Insight will continue to drive IMPACT – today and tomorrow.
